Welcome, Messie Biatoumoussoka

Hamrun Spartans FC are delighted to announce the signing of Congolese international defender Messie Biatoumoussoka. The 28-year-old centre-back arrives at our club with extensive experience gained across several European leagues, bringing leadership, composure and defensive solidity to the Spartans’ backline. Standing at 1.89m, Biatoumoussoka is a commanding presence in both penalty areas. Born in Saint-Denis, France, he came through the youth ranks at Le Havre before launching his senior career with Bordeaux’s reserves. He went on to test himself across the continent in Belgium with Charleroi, followed by spells in Cyprus, Romania, Bulgaria and Georgia, as well as a stint in Morocco with AS FAR and most recently featuring for Lokomotiv Sofia in the Bulgarian First League. On the international stage, he has represented the Congo national team since 2022, adding further pedigree to a defender who has built his game on positioning, strength and reading the play.
