From Zagreb to Ħamrun: Ćorić is Here

We are incredibly proud to welcome Ante Ćorić to the Champions of Malta — Ħamrun Spartans!

A name once whispered alongside Croatia’s finest, Ćorić was described as “more talented than Modrić and Kovačić at his age” by Dinamo Zagreb’s Zoran Mamić, and “better than Boban or Prosinečki when they were his age” by Zdravko Mamić. At 17, he debuted in Europe and became the youngest scorer in UEFA Europa League history — a clear sign of the immense potential he carried.

His talent didn’t go unnoticed. Italian legend Francesco Totti once said:

“Ćorić è forte, i tifosi rimarranno a bocca aperta.”
(“Ćorić is strong, the fans will be left speechless.”)

From Dinamo Zagreb to AS Roma, UD Almería, FC Zürich, and Olimpija Ljubljana, Ćorić has gained invaluable experience across Europe. A Croatian international with senior team caps, he brings not only quality, but also European pedigree.

Now 27, Ante joins Ħamrun Spartans ready to channel that experience into a new chapter — one of resurgence, hunger, and ambition. His technical craft, creative intelligence, and calm under pressure will fortify our midfield as we prepare for our European journey.

💬 “I’m happy to be back on the pitch and part of a clear vision. Personally, I feel I’m at a good pace,” Ćorić shared recently — echoing his renewed focus.

Ante, your next chapter begins here.
Let’s write history together. ⚫️🔴
