Ħamrun Spartans Football Club have written another glorious page in their European journey, qualifying for the Second Qualifying Round of the UEFA Champions League after an unbelievable 11-10 penalty shoot-out victory over Lithuanian champions FK Žalgiris Vilnius.
After falling 2-0 in the first leg in Vilnius, few gave the Spartans a chance. But back at the Ta’ Qali National Stadium, the Maltese champions responded with heart, hunger, and history-making football.
Heroic Comeback in Malta
