Welcome back, Saliou Thioune

Ħamrun Spartans FC announce the return of Saliou Thioune to the Club. Saliou returns to Hamrun after a previous spell with the Spartans, bringing with him experience, strength and valuable qualities in midfield. The 22-year-old Italian-Senegalese midfielder first arrived in the black and red last summer, going on to feature in the Club’s historic European campaign. Before coming to Malta he began his career at Cittadella in Italy and gained further experience in Switzerland with Yverdon Sport, Paradiso and Locarno, more recently testing himself in Belarus. His familiarity with the Club and understanding of its ambitions make him an important addition as we continue strengthening the squad for the season ahead.
