Progetto Italia | Club Announcement

Ħamrun Spartans FC are proud to announce “Progetto Italia”, a new international twinning initiative that will connect our Club with a wide network of Italian and European football organisations. This project will run throughout 2026 and 2027, bringing coaching exchanges, youth development programmes, technical workshops and cultural activities — many of which will take place at the Victor Tedesco Stadium. A delegation will be in Malta this week for meetings with Club CEO Marcel Bonnici to finalise the programme.

A Growing International Network

Through this initiative, Ħamrun Spartans will be twinned with clubs from across Italy’s major regions — including Calabria, Sicilia, Campania, Toscana, Emilia-Romagna, Lazio, Piemonte, Lombardia, Abruzzo, Marche, Puglia and Veneto — as well as partner clubs from Spain, Slovenia and Montenegro. #HamrunSpartans #ProgettoItalia
