Ħamrun Spartans have written another golden chapter in their history by winning the first-ever 360Sports Malta Premier title, defeating Birkirkara 1-0 in a tense and hard-fought final at the National Stadium in front of over 9,600 fans!

After a rollercoaster season filled with ups and downs, the Spartans showed immense resilience and belief—especially after the appointment of Winston Muscat in March. Under his leadership, Ħamrun turned their season around and delivered when it mattered most.

The only goal of the match came just after the hour mark, when Joseph Mbong’s low cross was met by Roko Prsa, who calmly slotted past the goalkeeper to seal the victory.

President Joseph Portelli reflected on the journey, admitting there were moments of doubt. But thanks to the team’s work ethic and unity, the dream was kept alive—and achieved.

This marks Ħamrun Spartans’ third consecutive league title, 11th in club history, and their second trophy of the season after winning the Super Cup. With one more trophy in sight—the FA Trophy—the Spartans are now chasing a historic domestic treble.
